Big Mike’s Outpost LLC was formed in the Fall of 2021 by Kristy McKenzie (Owner) and Mike McKenzie (Manager).

Big Mike's Outpost LLC is a unique Retail Shop located in downtown Floresville, Tx. providing a variety of brands, products, and services. Whether you are looking for a gift idea, a new product/item for your personal stash, or a solution to a dream or idea you have that you need help bringing to life.

The goal for the future of B.M.O. is to continue providing a vast array of Quality Services for the Wilson County Area, and elsewhere. B.M.O. strives for complete customer satisfaction and that “Extra Mile” Experience. B.M.O. has capabilities as of Jan 1 2022, to provide Licensed FFL Services with an array of 16+ of the nations top brands and suppliers to help you get your products quickly.

B.M.O. offers a wide range of Gunsmithing services in house, including machining services, sight installs, stock replacements, accessories and more. We are a Cerakote Authorized Dealer. We even offer Powdercoat services.

The B.M.O. Machine shop has at its disposal, a 53″x19″ VELOX-CNC Router for Aluminum, Wood, and Plastics, a 30×12 Vertical (manual) Mill, as well as a 14″x 72″ Metal working Lathe with threading ability and a taper attachment.

B.M.O. performs in house sand/bead blasting, Mig, Tig, and Plasma units for use on a variety of materials, Oxy Acetylene Rigs, a 50watt JPT MOPA Fiber Laser, and a 3d Printer for small scale prototyping.

In the Summer of 2022, B.M.O. added Embroidery and T-Shirt printing to their list of capabilities, digitizing in house, opening the door to Custom and customized Apparel.

Kristy has been working in the Construction field for 20+years, learning how to manage small business. She is very creative, professional, and really knows how to treat the customer right.

Mike has a strong mechanical background with professional experience in many areas including the following: Auto & Truck rebuild and repair. Sheet Metal Fabrication and repair in both Commercial/Industrial markets as well as Aircraft Sheetmetal, part manufacturing, design and prototyping. MIG and TIG welding of Steel and Stainless, as well as brazing, Silicon Bronze, and soldering processes on many metals including Stainless, and even a few “old school” tricks like how to properly MIG or Braze heavy Cast Iron… Mike has extensive knowledge and experience in Aerospace Machining, utilizing Milling equipment, Lathes, also CNC Mills and Routers. Mike has 15+ years experience using CAD/CAM software such ad MasterCAM, Solidworks, and CAMworks with Professional level 3d Modeling Capabilities, recently adding Fusion360 to the mix for in house design and machining development.

Mike has been building, repairing, and upgrading Personal Computers and Gaming systems for 25+ years with experience in small business networking and security/Camera system installs.

A life long passion for Flying, Gaming, Hunting, Guns, Hotrods and Offroad Trucks, provide the interest and drive to stay on the cutting edge of many different markets. Having celebrated our first year in business on August 5th 2022, we are looking forward to continued growth from the mutual support between B.M.O. and this great and growing community!
